Join us at the Eastern Prom for the kickoff of our knotweed removal series! In partnership with the City of Portland, Maine Audubon, Munjoy Hill Neighborhood Association, and Friends of the Eastern Promenade, we’ll remove invasive knotweed and plant native species.

Trail building and maintenance at North Deering Park (Portland's newest park!). Involves transporting (in wheelbarrows), spreading, raking and tamping gravel and stonedust to create and improve pathways. There may be some light brushwork as well. 

BYO lunch/snacks, work/gardening gloves, water and bug repellent (just in case). Wear closed-to shoes and comfortable clothes.
