It’s been a landmark year for the Portland Parks Conservancy! Help us keep the ball rolling!
2025 was an incredible year for the Portland Parks Conservancy! Your support made all the difference, allowing us to hit a major $1.25 million campaign goal for a new community pool, celebrate five years of the impactful Portland Youth Corps, and open the fantastic Riverton Trolley Bike Park. We also coordinated over 40 volunteer days across the city, strengthening our green spaces together.
We’re carrying that momentum into 2026 with gusto! We hope you will join us by making a gift to our Annual Fund. Your support will help to revitalize neglected green spaces, establish new parks, build new facilities, grow our tree canopy, mobilize volunteers, and foster the next generation of park stewards.
Here are just a few key Conservancy priorities for the coming year:
In its sixth season, Portland Youth Corps will engage dozens of Portland teens from varied backgrounds in intensive multi-week sessions that focus on science learning, professional development, outdoor adventure, and community service.
The Conservancy raised $1.25 million to help build a dynamic new outdoor aquatics center, which we will help open in June.
The Conservancy will help cut the ribbon for Portland Harbor Common, a beautiful new park on the eastern waterfront, after raising more than $2 million for the project.
Following several years of Conservancy planning and fundraising, a new bike park was opened at Riverton Trolley Park, with additional improvements in progress: a pollinator meadow, wayfinding and interpretive signage, and major upgrades to the parking area.
The Conservancy is helping to develop a forestry management plan that will create a more substantial, biodiverse, and equitably distributed tree canopy in our city.
The Conservancy coordinates dozens of volunteer events annually, focusing on trash cleanup, invasive plant removal, tree care, and trail improvements.
The Conservancy organizes Third Thursday Walks, and supports and promotes partners’ parks-based programming like the Portland Lantern Walk and Re-Forest the City.
None of this would be possible without park supporters like you. Thanks for considering a gift to the Conservancy’s 2025 Annual Fund.
